Process and Value Stream Mapping

Learn to create visual maps of your business processes.

Process and Value Stream Mapping are fundamental tools for process standardisation and improvement and can be a starting point for identifying improvement opportunities. This workshop uses your real workplace processes as a basis for training so that participants see how the technique works in a practical sense in their work environment.

Participants will learn how to:

• Create value stream and process maps, including an explanation of the tools & symbology used and the best methods and steps to follow

• Conduct process and value stream mapping workshops

• Use process and value stream maps to identify bottleneck processes and how to create future state maps

There are no prerequisites for this workshop, but it is advantageous to attend our Introduction to Lean Thinking workshop prior to this workshop.
